BasketBall Player
This was a personal project created during a week long workshop called Living Lines. It's a short sequence inspired by basketball player Lebron James.
Below is the full sequence just after one week, before I started cleanup and tiedown phase.
This project started with the idea to animate a basketball player throwing a basket. Elaborating on this I decided to add dynamic camera motion for a dribbling sequence. I was aiming for something similar to this "Hypervenom" clip created by Buck some years ago. In addition we had a sound file from the workshop I used in this video which brought me to the idea to add the shot of the coach yelling from his seat.
Going through the different stages of the animation I cut together a short clip below that shows the progress of the animatics.
